Shorts and short sleeves were all on display in Ocober as HSGS took their second trip to Hartley Whitney, the Captain (Phil Colmer) came 2nd that day and Paul Baker took the wooden spoon. It was a hort course so you really had to plot your way around the course, the green were all consistant and the fairways starting to recover from the summer heatwave.
It was Alan Green who won the event with 40 points, taking him to the top of the Order of Merit, with Alan Eastwood not far behind on 38 points, finishing off the podium positions was Phil Burridge with 35 points. We had 7 guests today all performing well, and at the top of the leaderboard through the front 9, being tracked on the live leaderboard, but in the end Ash Heyward score a fantastic 41 points to be the best guest on the day.
At the bottom end of the table was Paul baker how didn't have his best day taking the wooden spoon, probably not his favourite course, but all had a great day in the sun with food and a few drinks afterwards.
