The fourth 'Order of Merit' event of 2023, 'The Autumn Trophy', was held at Newbury & Crookham GC on Thursday. Despite the forecast, the weather pretty much held until the last hour or so, and the course was in good shape despite the soggy conditions.

The scoring was generally high. Huge congratulations go to Jim White who absolutely shot the lights out to win with 45 points, five clear of Chris Marlow (40 points) in 2nd place and seven points clear of Ed Moloney Jnr (38 points) in 3rd place. Playing off 4.2, Jim shot an incredible 65 gross, 4-under par, on the Par-69 course and has subsequently been cut to 2.2!. Well played Jim - awesome!
