REPORT

Yet another scorching day for a Stragglers event at Hartley Whintney, the course was also in fantastic condition with fairways like carpet and quick greens. The blue skies and slight breeze promised some high scoring which wasn't realised apart from a new event winner scoring 27 points, very well done Nick Lawton and to Phil Colmer coming second with 36 points. The rest seemed to struggle on the back nine with Andy Buck scoring 32 points in third!
