REPORT
It was another scorching day for the Stragglers as they visited Ferndown for the first time. The lunar eclipse occurred earlier on the day but nothing could eclipse the sublime golf of Andy Birch! Andy nurdled his way round the course to produce a score of 39 points 4 more than Pete Botterill in second place on 35.
The greens were quick and had a few people in trouble early on, the back nine seemed to produce the better scores. Not sure if the bad start from the golfers was due to the professional photographer set-up on the first tee to capture all those magic moments!
