Details for the first event of 2017 of the HSGS calendar, the Captain's Drive-In, have now been finalised. Those still wanting to play or come along in the evening are more than welcome. Please contact the Chairman on the contact details below.
Final arrangements for the day are as follows:
Meet - from 10.30am; tea/coffee and bacon roll on arrival
Dress code - Society t-shirts and pinkies (if you have them), or smart trousers, to be worn; JP will be fining anyone not wearing pinkies if we know they are owned by said-members!
Tee-times - from 11.30am to 12.42pm - see below
18 holes - stableford competition - full handicap
Prizes - 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 'High Handicapper', 'Longest Drive', 'Nearest the Pin', 'Nearest the Pin in Two', wooden spoon
Two-course meal - chicken and mushroom pie and trimmings, followed vy homemade syrup sponge and custard - from 5.30pm; any dietary requiremenrts to me please

I'm happy to take some money on the day if need be.
Please come armed with an extra fiver on the day - to cover the 'Twos' competition, entry into the draw for a cash prize to cover the cost of the next event and a contribution to JP's chosen charity. Ta!
Dress code for golf - Society t-shirts must be worn - or a fine will be incurred!. Tailored trousers or shorts (no denim, beach-wear, etc.).
Dress code for the evening - Jacket and Society tie are compulsory for men, and the 'Fines Master' will be on the lookout!
