1st 'Order of Merit' Event 2016 - 'The Captain's Drive-In' - Blackmoor GC - Friday 4th March

The first 'Order of Merit' event of 2016, 'The Captain's Drive-In' (defending champion - Andy Birch), will be held at Blackmoor Golf Club on Friday 4th March 2016.

The format of the day is as follows:

• • Meet – from 10.30am; tea/coffee and bacon roll on arrival

  • Tee-times – from 11.30am to 1pm

  • 18 holes – stableford competition – full handicap

  • Prizes - 1st, 2nd, 3rd, ‘Longest Drive’, ‘Nearest the Pin’, ‘Nearest the Pin (in Two)’, wooden spoon

  • 2-course dinner and presentations - 5.30pm

The cost of the event is £55. Annual subs for 2016 are now due. These were set at the AGM on and are again £10. So, in order to play in this first event you need to pay £65 in the usual way - £10 annual subs and £55 for the event - either by cheque or, ideally, online.

We will also be doing the draw for the Annual knock-out trophy, won in 2015 by Colin Maby.
