Details for the second 'Order of Merit' event of 2014, The Spring Cup, have now been finalised. We have 27 members and one guest confirmed for the event.

Final arrangements for the day are as follows:

• • Meet – from 12 noon; full English breakfast and tea/coffee on arrival

  • Dress code - Society t-shirts must be worn by members - or a fine will be incurred!. Tailored trousers (pinkies, if you have them) or shorts (no denim, beach-wear, etc.).

  • Tee-times – from 1.04pm to 2.00pm - see below

  • 18 holes – stableford competition – full handicap

  • Prizes - 1st, 2nd, 3rd, ‘Longest Drive', ‘Nearest the Pin’, ‘Nearest the Pin (in Two)’, wooden spoon

  • Two-course dinner and presentations for the day - 7pm

  • Dress code for the evening - Jacket and Society tie are compulsory for men, and the 'Fines Master' will be on the lookout!
