'THE SPRING CUP'

NEWBURY AND CROOKHAM GOLF CLUB

Friday 17th May 2013

The second 'Order of Merit' event of the year, 'The Spring Cup', will be held at Newbury and Crookham Golf Club on Friday 17th May 2013. This event was won last year by Geoff Laney at Tidworth Garrison GC. 

The format of the day is as follows:

• Meet – from 12.30pm; tea/coffee and bacon roll on arrival

• Tee-times – from 1.30pm to 2.30pm - see below

• 18 holes – stableford competition – full handicap

• Prizes - 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 'High Handicapper', ‘Longest Drive’, ‘Nearest the Pin’, ‘Nearest the Pin (in Two)’, wooden spoon

• 2-course dinner and presentations - 7.30pm

The cost for the event is £50. If you have not yet paid your subs for 2013, the total cost to you will be £60.

Dress code for golf - Society t-shirts must be worn - or a fine will be incurred! Tailored trousers or shorts (no denim, beach-wear, etc.), preferably pink!

Dress code for the evening - Jacket and Society tie are compulsory for men, and the 'Fines Master' will be on the lookout!
