Details for the second event of 2012 of the HSGS calendar, the Spring Cup, have now been finalised. Please see below for full details.

The format of the day will be as follows:

• Meet – from 12noon; tea/coffee and bacon roll on arrival

• 18 holes – stableford competition – full handicap

• Prizes - 1st, 2nd, 3rd, ‘Longest Drive on 15th’, ‘Nearest the Pin 13th’, ‘Nearest the Pin (in Two) on 18th’, wooden spoon

• 2-course dinner; presentations – 7.30pm

This competition will form the part of the 'Straggler of the Year' Order of Merit 2012.

Dress code for golf - Society t-shirts must be worn - or a fine will be incurred!. Tailored trousers or shorts (no denim, beach-wear, etc.).

Dress code for the evening - Jacket and Society tie are compulsory for men, and the 'Fines Master' will be on the lookout!
